At the Beach

Today l read ''At the Beach'', Oxford Read and Discover, a level 1 book. It show us a lot of interesting things about beach, ocean, rocks, plants, animals and etc...

 The most interesting things that I thought is that the prawns have 20 legs and it walk with 10 legs, and it swim with 10 legs. Prawn's each legs have important work.

 The second interesting thing is that a pelican can get 11 litters of water in its bill. I have never seen a pelican in person. If I went to a zoo, I want to see whether it really can that.   

LLC

 Hello🙌
 On Tuesday, I went to LLC. Then I played some applications using a iPad.
For example, Chojimaku showed us subtilis of TV or movies. By using it I can learn a lot of English phrases of everyday life. So I thought that it'll be improve my English skills.

Lost in the Jungle

Today I read "Lost in the Jungle" Oxford Reading Tree, a stage 7 book.

 On mother's birthday, Biff gave her mother a plant. Her father gave her a plant too. And also, other friends of mother gave her plant. So the house of her turned into jungle. At that time, the magic key became more and more big. The magic took Biff, Kipper and Chip into a Jungle. The jungle was fulled of plants. In the jungle, they had a wonderful experience that found the Lost City with a man and a lady.   

 I want to go to jungle in the living life.

 Last weekend, I saw a surprising situation that a lot of people are running by my house. It was a competition called "Red bull Hakuryuusou". Many people run to the top of the stone steps which has 3,333 steps. My town has a "Nihon-ichi no Ishidan". So a lot of people run/walk to the top.

The Girl at the Window

I'm always here. I'm waiting for my baby.

  Today I read ''The Girl at the Window'' CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH Readers, a level 0 book.
  Grace is a girl in 1815 and then a girl in a picture. She had a pretty baby and good husband who was a soldier. She was always waiting him. But one day, she heard that he died in a war. She was disappointed. What a worse,  two women came to Grace house and took her baby because they thought that baby who has a single mother is poor.


 Sue is a young mother in 2001. She was supposed to live in a house in which Grace lived. But she didn't know that Grace still lived in the house waiting her baby. Sue had a baby named Sammy. Grace misunderstanded that she is a her baby. So she tried to get back her. When Grace tried it, the house was boring. Sue and her baby  was in a fire. They could be helped...? And Grace could disappear?

The Lost Cup

Today I read "The Lost Cup" atama-ii books.

In the book I had to choose the way I go ahead.

 In this book, I was a detective. In 1983, thieves stole the world cup of soccer. So I was looking for them. A man named Sergio knew that where the cup are. My partner named John could find him and we went to Rio de Janeiro to find it. We met Sergio at the airport and promised to meet next day at the Sugarloaf Mountain. After the day, nobody were in john's room. Someone kidnapped him. So I went to the mountain alone. At the mountain Sergio waited me and said "where is your friend?" I told him a truth. when we get a cable car, a man grabbed Sergio. I tried to help him and climb the top of the car. It downed the mountain. When it stopped, two policeman waited me. They point their gun at me. I was misunderstanded tthat I was a theft by them 😢

this week post

 Every Monday, I often watched ”Confidence Man jp”. It was a funny drama. Three people deserve many people and get a lot of money from them.
 Yesterday, the drama ended. But it has a plan to be a movie. So I'm looking forward to watching it in a theater.

A Death in Oxford

I'm happy. She's dead and I'm happy.

 Today I read ''A Death in Oxford'', CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH READERS, a level 0 book.
  On Friday 26 July: 6.30 am, Dr Janet Leighton was found as a body. She was killed by some one. Frank Williams was a police inspector and Kate Miller was a sergeant. They tried to solving this issue. Janet was a doctor. Barbara had been a doctor at Janet Leighton's clinic. But now she hated Janet because she fired by her. Simon was Janet Leighton's husband. He hated her because she didn't give him money or house despite she was rich. Chris Leighton was Janet Leighton's son. He was twenty-eight and hadn't any job. He also hated Janet because she didn't give him money.

Who killed Janet and why?
The killer is in those characters...

Martina the Cockroach

Then a mouse came by and said, "Marry me!"
"What sound do you make?" asked Martina.
"Kiiii, Kiiii," he said.

 Today I read "Martina the Cockroach," Folk & Fairy Tale EASY READERS.
It was story about a cockroach named Martina. One day she found a coin. By using it, she bought a perfume and a beautiful dress and made her hair fix.
 She was ready to got marred. A cat, a rooster, a flog, and a dog came to her to got marred to her. Thought a lot of animals came to her, she didn't moved because she didn't like their sound.
Then a mouse came by and said, "Marry me!" and she came to like him sound. After the day, they got married and lived happily ever after.

About a month later, I watched "Romeo and Juliet" which was the present version. It was very interesting!!!! Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio was very coooooool♡

This Week Post

This week I'm going to watch the fireflies by the river side. I live in the countryside in Kumamoto. That why, my town has beautiful forests, rivers and airs and active animals. I can watch them from our car.

Today I read ''The Story of CARS'', UNBONE YOUNG READING, a level 3 book. It was written about car's history.
  Firstly, da Vinci drew plans for a car. But most people made fun of him. Some years later, people invented cars moved by steam power. But it was easy to stop and break. And next, investors used gasoline. But it was took a lot of time to leave. As time goes, cars were developed. For example, the car's speed and design were improved. And the signals and wipers invented. At that time, cars race became popular.



 Today we have various car choices.
 What next?!

What a lottery！

  Today I read "What a lottery", Cambridge English Starer, a level 0 book. It was written about a lukky man. Rick was a main character. He was a singer who didn't famous and popular. But he hoped that he become  famous and popular man. Mary was a Rick's wife and  she left from him because he didn't work but wander.
 One day, he got eight million dollars because his lottery number displayed on TV. On the way to bank, he met a man named Barry. He was running from the police by getting rid of taxi. Rick misunderstanded that Barry is taxi. On noticing that Rick become rich, Barry got rid of his lottery ticket in a cafe. Because of it, Rick's memories disappeared. In the cafe Rick met a woman named Sarah who was singer. She invited him to her concert as a guitarist.
Rick's wife came to her concert and she saw him. But he didn't remember his wife.

Pocahontas

They could see rivers, and flowers, and forests.

 Today I read "Pocahontas", OXFORD BOOKWORMS LIBRARY, a level 1 book. The book was written about a Indian girl who loved a Englishman.
  In January 1607 three ships left England and sailed to America. There were a lot of men and they want to find a new and exciting country. They arrived in Virginia on the 26th April, 1607. Virginia had a lot of Indian and Some of them afraid of English man. On arriving in Virginia, Englishmen started to build their town. John Smith was a member of the Englishmen. Pocahontas was a member of Indians in Virginia. Pocahontas liked Smith but he disappeard suddenly. Then Pocahontas heard that Smith died because of ill. Pocahontas shocked very much. A few years later, Pocahontas met a man named John Rolf. They loved each other. After that, they got married and had a son.
In 1670, they went to London and visited to King. Then Pocahontas knew that Smith still alive and live in London. Some days later, Pocahontas saw Smith. Pocahontas loved him but now she had husband and a sun. So Pocahontas was not able to like him any more.
 Gradually Pocahontas's condition became worse. In 1671, Pocahontas died. She was a first woman who got married to Englishman and visited England.


This story is written in Disney too. I was sad when I had finished read it. But I thought that Pocahontas had a strong heart. I want to visit Virginia such has beautiful forests and rivers.

The Boy who cried Wolf

No one believes liars, even when they tell the truth.

Today I read "The Boy who cried Wolf" USBORNE FIRST READING, a level 3 book.
 Sam lived in a little village and he took sheep from the village up the hill to a grassy meadow everyday. He did same things and he was SO bored.
 One day, he came up with a good idea. Then He ran down the hill to village, saying "help!! A wolf has come out of the forest!" Everyone ran up the hill but there're NO wolf. So the boy told a lie. Sam continue to tell villagers lies. In order that, nobody came to believe him.
 A few days later, a real wolf appeared. And Sam told other villagers that. But nobody believe him. After the day, some villagers visited Sam but there're no sheep. Every villagers were unable to understand what happened yesterday until they have seen that situation.



You should not tell tell a lie if you want to be trusted by others.
