08: Within High Fence

     Last week I read Within High Fences, a Cambridge English Readers, level 2 book. It was a story about a woman who works for the refugee camp and a man who is in that place. The main character' name is Nancy and George. Nancy had a husband who always gave things what she wants, but she didn't like him. One day she saw a man pick up two cookies. At the refugee camp, putting more two things were banished, so Nancy went to the man to warning. That man was George. At that time he tried to pick up another cookie for a small boy. Then she noticed his kindness and she became to like him. But her husband disagreed with her decision and he harassed her many times. 

     Could Nancy and George get a happiness...????

07: Different Worlds

In my world there are no birds singing. There are no noisy men working on the roads. No people leaving bars late at night shouting at each other. No babies crying.

Last week I read Different Worlds, a Cambridge English Readers, level 2 book. This is a story about a girl who is a deaf and a boy who plays a drum in a band. The girl's name is Sam and boy's name is Jim. Sam is fall in love with Jim, but there are many difficulties between them, such a girl who in the red dress.

Can they get over these problems? Can they grab happiness?

I think this story encourages all girl who is fall in love with someone. You should read this story!!!!!!!!

06: Jojo's Story

Now I have a gun and I'm a man. p.46

     Last week I read Jojo's Story, a Cambridge English Readers, level 2 book. It is a story about a boy who is alone in a village because all of villagers were killed in civil war. He is ten-year-old. At the end, he decided to be a child soldier.

    This story made me think about a fear of wars and I though such a situation is still made in a lot of places in the world. I think many students should read this story. 

05: Apollo's Gold

     This week, I read Apollo's Gold, a Cambridge English Readers, level 2 book. This is a story about woman who works for a university is involved in a murder case. Her name is Liz and she works for a university in London. Later, she goes to Greece. While living, her husband has an affair with another woman and her also comes to like another man, her boss. Due to tiredness of work and flirtation of husband, she is recommended to have a rest by her boss and doctor. To do so, she goes to her boss's second house which is located in a island. At there, she comes to like a fisherman who manages his house, but sadly he dead. To know the truth, she sneaks into a ship which is used by terrorists.

Can she come to know the truth?
Why was a fisherman killed?
